The NAGA or PEDESTAL bowl is a completely different style for the practitioner, with the base allowing the sound to be directed very specifically into certain body parts of spatial directions, making it excellent for professional use. Generally a Naga has more expansive sustain than other shapes given it's thicker walls.

A lovely complex tone and rich sustain makes this an excellent find - Naga bowls are the least seeon shape on the antique market and are found very rarely outside northern India and Nepal.

The A3 tuning makes it excellent for use over the third eye chakra, and it's high note is a perfect 5th. A great option for closing sessions, for wafting across the body in savasana, breathwork, or 'coming home' sections of your sound journey.

FUNDAMENTAL NOTE: A3/D5

    • Antique bowls carry mineralisation and patina marks - this is a signature of their age and metallurgy, and should not be mistaken for damage. Please inspect the video carefully in advance of purchase. We are always happy to show bowls via video call if you prefer.
    • All bowls have been tested extensively by our expert collectors and selected personally by Janie. Both parties have checked each bowl for structural and sonic integrity and are satisfied that it is of the highest standard.
    • Bowls should be cleaned gently using fresh lemon juice and baking/bicarbonate of soda mixed into a paste. Apply with a soft cloth and buff away - rinse with warm water and a mild dish soap and dry immediately. Do not use scrubbers or any metal cleaning chemicals on your singing bowls, especially precious antiques.
