Mentorship is for anyone who has already completed a sound facilitation training of some kind, whether with Silence & Noise, or elsewhere.

Each month there's a live 120 minute online workshop featuring a seminar on a subject chosen within our group WhatsApp, followed by an extensive Q&A divided between the theme of the month and an open floor for asks, ideas, support and signposting.
TRANSMISSION is a 1:1 container, just you and Janie, designed to work through your specific wants, needs, desires, hopes and visions.
Available as a one-off intensive private workshop, or as a quarterly or monthly commitment, allowing us space to grow your sound business and skills together over a longer time arc.
This also allows us to target clients, bespoke your skills, spend time in feedback and review, and grow your sound practice into greater fullness.

Welcome to
A monthly online gathering of sound graduates and practitioners at all levels.
This space is all about advancing learning, ideas and your personal growth as a sound facilitator, through workshopping, questions, and 360° peer connection.
Each month Janie will share a seminar/workshop on a particular subject related to soundwork - with subjects drawn form conversation and polls inside our private group, ensuring content crafted and requested by the membership.

The workshop is followed by curated Q&A related the theme, and then an open table for any and all questions related to soundwork. Got questions about what brand of bowl to buy? Trouble you're having with some tech? Advice on negotiating a venue? Struggles with a student or client? Recommendations for the next great mallet? The floor is yours. ​
