The Ultabati shape is characterised by the base being wider than the rim, and usually thinner walls which create a visibly intense vibration. They are thus excellent for on-body work as well as creating typically excellent sustains in open space.

- Bowls should be cleaned gently using fresh lemon juice and baking/bicarbonate of soda mixed into a paste. Apply with a soft cloth and buff away - rinse with warm water and a mild dish soap and dry immediately. Do not use scrubbers or any metal cleaning chemicals on your singing bowls, especially precious antiques.
